How to Calculate Time-Weighted Rate of Return

I just finished up a post on how to calculate personal rate of return (also known as time-weighted rate of return). It is a lot of work to do the calculation but it is the only way for you to know what your actual performance is when dollar-cost averaging or simply making periodic investments.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys would check it out and tell me if it makes sense. I would post it here but it is a really long post.
