Diehards V Las Vegas Announcement

Hello Fellow Diehards:
We're pleased to announce that we've finalized plans for our Diehards V reunion in Las Vegas. Our reunion is being held in conjunction with InterShow's Money Show in Las Vegas. The Money Show runs from May 15-18. The Diehards V scheduled events will begin at noon on Monday, May 15th, and will end at 1:00PM on Tuesday, May 16th.
Due to the room size, we must limit the number of Diehards who can attend to 100. We urge you to make your plans and reservations as early as possible to make sure you don't get shut out. Here is the information we've been waiting for:
HOTEL:
The Money Show and some of the Diehards V events will be held at the Paris Resort, and others will be held at the adjacent Bally's. Both hotels are offering discounted rates. The Paris Resort is $150 per night plus 9% tax. Bally's is $130 per night plus 9% tax. You're free to stay wherever you want.
TENTATIVE PROGRAM:
MONDAY, May 15
12:00 pm to 1:00pm - Check in at the Diehards private meeting room at the Paris Resort to receive badges for both the Money Show and the Diehards events. This is our first get-together where we welcome new friends and say "hello" to old friends.
1:00pm to 2:15 pm - Announcements and introduction of Diehards in our private meeting room at the Paris.
2:15pm - Proceed to the opening ceremonies.
2:30pm to 6:00 pm - Money Show opening ceremonies at the Paris. (Diehards meeting room will be closed from 2:30pm to 7:00pm.)
6:00pm to 6:30pm - Jack Bogle's Money Show speech at the Paris (Reserved seating for our Diehards group).
7:00pm to 8:00pm - Reception in the Diehards private meeting room at the Paris with cash bar.
8:00pm to ? - Banquet in the Diehards private meeting room at the Paris. Jack Bogle will be joining us as our guest of honor. (Dress: Your choice.)
TUESDAY, May 16
8:00am to 9:00am - Breakfast pastries & coffee in the Diehards private meeting room at Bally's.
9:00am to 10:30am - Book signing in the Diehards private meeting room at Bally's. Jack Bogle, Bill Schultheis, Rick Ferri and The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing authors will be there. (Bring your books!)
10:30am-11:30am - Q&A with Jack Bogle in the Diehards private meeting room at Bally's.
11:30am-11:45am Break
11:45am-1:00pm - Q&A with Diehard authors in attendance (Rick Ferri, Michael LeBoeuf, Mel Lindauer, Bill Schultheis).
1:00pm - End of scheduled events
COST:
$145 per person which includes registration, our reception, banquet, continental breakfast, meeting rooms, microphones, bartender, etc. Payment via credit card for the Diehards events will be handled by the Show's producers at the time you register for the show and book your hotel rooms. Diehards badges will be issued to those who've registered and paid. No one will be admitted to any of the Diehards events without their badge.
REGISTRATION:
1. Call InterShow's Customer Service folks at 800-970-4355.
2. Tell them you want to purchase a ticket for the Diehards V/Bogleheads Las Vegas events.
3. The will ask if you have a priority code. Our priority code is 005743.
4. You'll be asked if you want to reserve a room at either Bally's or Paris at the discounted rates.
5. When you purchase your Diehards event ticket, you'll automatically be registered for the Money Show at the same time.
6. If you've jumped the gun and registered for the Money Show online, the Show's producers say you won't be able to purchase a ticket to the Diehards events. You may try to cancel the original registration and start over, but we can't guarantee that will work.
