In Larry's newest/updated 2005 book, The Only Guide to a Winning Investment Strategy You'll Ever Need : The Way Smart Money Invests Today, he gives a pretty good recommended sample Taxable Portfolio using a mix of Vanguard Funds & ETF's:
US -- 70%
S&P 500................17.5%
S&P 400V (MidValue)....17.5%
TM Smallcap............17.5%
S&P 600V (SmallValue)..17.5%
International -- 30%
TM International.......20%
Emerging Markets.......10%
p.s. I hope Larry doesn't mind me posting this as he has always in the past been very open with his recommendations. In any case, this is just a taste of one example within 300 pages or so of good information in his updated book.
