You're making it sound like the Coffeehouse could never gain 0.86% on average above it's 3.2% yield. Come on. You don't think that $1M portfolio couldn't make at least a $8600 capital gain on average per year?
However just for the fun if it, I could rearrange the funds so that they'll add up to 4% yield.
15% Large Val (DVY) 3.03% 15% Small Val (VISVX) 2.12% 15% Int'l Val (PID) 3.01% 15% REITs (RYR) 6.44% 40% Bonds (VBMFX) 4.69%
Overall yield is 4.06%, same as CAIBX. I'll dub this the Espresso Portfolio.
